SInce being in business, me and Olly have seen many companies come and go, certainly in the modified car world. There have been alot of people set up a business and then within a year, they’ve gone bang and vanished off the face of the earth, anyways, onto the main topic and the reason I started this post..
dijitul media tend to be very competitive on the web design side of things, in fact I could easily say that we are one of the cheapest around. Although some people would say that price is not always the main factor, its about the quality of work etc, I feel that alot of companies are charging too much for what they do..
Over the past few months I have noticed a few more companies popping up on google when searching for web design in mansfield and web design companies in mansfield. There are four to five that are actual established companies and others that are part time freelance designers.
There is alot of competition out there, what bothers me is there are one or two that are on the mansfield google searches that do not actually get back to people, or take on work and then take ages to carry out the work (not to mention companies that are not actually based in Mansfield). I only know this through word of mouth and speaking to companies that have been let down..
Its a dog eat dog world, If I hear of someone thats done a bad job then i’ll take the customer away from them and get the job done right (and at the right price). There are too many cowboys out there, and too many people sat in their bedroom claiming they can do this and do that, and really, they are not actually that good. It is a shame because companies are being ripped off, not getting what they paid for and last but not least are not having an effective website built, just rubbish..
Anyway, just felt like blogging about this, its not just web design, theres alot of other things but I shall leave that for another day…
