I woke up at 5.30am today, feelin full of energy so thought i’d make the most of it, and got cracking on the PC..

I have got quite a bit done on the Construction website I have been building, got off to a bad start really, and have had to start all over again, but at least I’m getting somewhere now. Shouldn’t be too long before its done now.

I have also got stuck into an online shop that I’m building, changed the look completely and have started adding categories, subcategories and some logos for the said categories, I seem to be able to concentrate better on things like this for some reason. Its coming on nicely.

Spoken to Wolfrace today about a sponsorship,they can help me but not quite yet, so I’m a bit stuck with that now, I need to get some wheels urgently. I have had a chat with a bloke at Fastcar, and they are interested in giving the car a mag feature, so thats good news. The car is coming on quite quickly, alot has been done, they are jsut waiting for wheels now so they can sort the arches out. I need to get my hands on some 18′s pretty sharpish…

I have a few more people to speak to about wheels and other bits and bobs, I’m sure i’ll put something out the bag, luck has been on my side for the past couple of months, I hope it carries on..

Dijitul is coming on nicely, Olly has added some more content, of which I need to proof read and add some of my own words. This usually takes me ages, cos I go really deep into the wording and think about what potential customers will really think about us, has to be perfect.

Everything is looking up really, still waiting for the MaxxDirectory to be updated and reprogrammed, but I aint rushin the guy, quality is worth waiting for, however I am desperate to get that out the way so we can get the ball rolling.

I must remember to post some things to Olly Wednesday and speak to these wheel suppliers first thing.

Time for bed me thinks, another long day ahead & too much Busta Rhymes & Pharell music has played through my brain today…

Monday was too long..

PC work, followed by 2 hours in the bank sorting new accounts out, AT LAST…

More PC work, 35 degrees….. out for a bit of shooting, then MORE PC work..

BED …. Tired.com.. as for everything else today, balls to it, aint in the mood… SLEEP

For some reason, the feeling of being on my own alot, and not having my mates around me is getting me down, and its beginning to really get me down.. I keep tellin myself that things will get easier, its seems to be all work and no play at the moment. I have so much going off in my life, alot of it being online projects and getting out of the debt I have ran up over the past few years, at least its going down and not up.

I just gotta keep my chin up as Olly tells me, he’s in the same boat, all work and no play.

Eoin is working on the Directory, making it work properly, adding a few extras and making it look better, so thats out of my hair for a while. Once thats done we can start adding companies to it and actually get something out of it, that thing has had so many problems.. Lets hope this is the final bit of work it will ever need.

Dijitul is coming on nicely, Olly has spent alot of time, adding content and sorting the hosting side out which is absolutely perfect in my eyes, its what we have needed for a long time. WOW, as I write all this, my head actually feels lighter and less stressed, now its in front of me, I suppose I can read it and realise that things are falling into place quite nicely on the business side.

I need to sort some content out for Marketing & Web Design, which I need to think very carefully about, cos as usual it has to be worded properly before it can go live.

So, where are we at? Hosting is now taken care of, Support is taken care of, The Directory will soon be ready again, which leaves the Marketing & Advertising side, and that can be started when the Directory is ready.. SWEET

The Polo has been started, and they are gettin on with that pretty quickly, I just need to sort out my wheels and seats now, everything should fall into place just in time. Once this is done I can get back out into the cruisin scene, and hit more cruises and shows than ever before, getting more content for Maxxd, we used to always be in a different town promoting Maxxd, and that times on its way back again. SWEEEEEET
So, what else is on my mind other than the above? —– construction website & a holiday website, I MUST get them done, soon.. and I keep tellin myself daily.. I WILL get them finished I promise..

This has kinda made me feel a bit better writing all this, there is more but I’ll leave it for another day..

Its now Monday morning, I was doing some work last night about 8pm, needed to restart the PC and whilst that was happening I laid down, next thing I knew it was 5.30am. oooops.. must of needed the sleep.
Saturday

I got up at 7am after being woken up by the most annoying alarm tone in the world, if i get to hear that EVER again, I will smash it into a thousand pieces.

Had breakfast, got washed and dressed and sat about waiting for the Taxi to take me back to the train station. Said goodbye to Vicky, and waited an hour for a train to Newark, as the one direct to Peterborough was gonna be aaaaaaaages. So, I went from Lincoln – Newark, then Newark to Peterborough. The train to Peterborough was the main one for Kings Cross and was absolutely packed, and guess what, NO SEATS LEFT.

I managed to sit in a reserved seat for about 10 minutes until the couple who had them got on, and I was quickly ejected from them. My legs were still killing me, and I had to stand for the entire journey. As you have gathered by now, I HATE trains, certainly full trains.

Arrived back in Peterborough, went back home, and rested for the rest of the afternoon, the weather was hot, humid and horrible, and my legs were no better. I managed to get a few things done on the computer..

Saturday went really quick for some reason, the night came, I chilled out on the bed and watched a few DVD’s, then went to bed.

Woke up, again, in pain, hamstrings have been well stretched, and its startin to bug me big style.. been told to try and work them a bit, but that hurts even more..

I got up a bit late due to waking up in the middle of the night in pain, took me ages to get to sleep again.

Had my breakfast, hobbled into the bath, and did some more work on the computer, and then got ready. I got my Dad to take me into Peterborough so I could jump on a train to Lincoln, this was bit of a last minute decision, but I needed to go..

Got over there about 3pm, had a limp round town, and headed up to the girlfriends.. lol.

I hate trains, and I hate walking on these battered legs but I aint stoppin anything.

Got to the top end of Lincoln and sat outside a pub for two hours whilst on the phone to Ko & Olly… Olly had received an earful from Danny, which made me very angry, and proves how unproffesional he is, we are doing everything in our power to sort this out, but he took US to court and now he aint happy with the outcome.. Nothing will stop us from doing what we are doing, EVER.
As for Ko, we just had a chat about old times, the more I speak to these two the more I miss em, car should be done soon, so all will be cool.

Vicky finally came to meet me after keeping me waiting for two hours, by this time I had a few pints of John Smiths on an empty stomach. Not good, to say I had bad legs too, i struggled to walk even more. lol

Went to Vicky’s house, had a takeaway, watched some TV, and as normal, had to have a look at a PC, cos it had had some problems with it. I sometimes wish I knew nothing about computers.

Vicky rubbed some ibuprofen gel into my legs, which irriated me even more, but you have to try these things. We settled down eventually and went to bed.

woke up @ 7.30am, still full of aches down the backs of my legs, DOH.left for mansfield about 8.30am, equipped with bumpers, seats and paint.

arrived about 11am, dropped bumpers & paint off at the bodyshop, called in at mums, got the car battery, left there, went to the old house.

installed battery, engine not turning over, battery is no good (or at least thats what i’m tellin myself, would not want to think “something” else had happened to it would I now)

We pulled the car out the garage and moved it off the drive and onto the land infront of the house.

locked it up, got dropped off in mansfield woodhouse, went to see Laura & Jess, got my hair cut at last, not had chance to get it done before and Laura is the only person that i trust with it.. period..

Left Laura’s and headed back up to the bodyshop, stayed there for about 2 hours chattin, got a lift to the train station and headed upto Kirkby.

Had a long chat with a legal advisor about a situation me & olly have found ourselves in.

I found out that everything can be controlled and things will be ok, called olly and explained it all and we are both pleased about it.

Olly called me back shortly after and told me that Welly had contacted him to say that the Polo had a police warning on it, NICE ONE

Had my dinner, received a call from the Police tellin me to come and move the car asap and that a notice had been placed on it due to no tax (looks like SOMEONE called them and told them i’d been and left the car there, who knows, for fuck sake, it was being moved at 17.30, whoever called them, your an ARSEHOLE). the tax had ran out 30th June, and the car had been sat in the garage since August last year.. I explained to the officer that it was being moved this evening and to stop wasting my time and find a proper crime to investigate.

What wankers, they wouldn’t have come that quick if i’d have stabbed someone..

Headed back into town for 17.30, met up with a bloke called Wayne and his son, who had a low loader and got the Polo onboard and took it away until the morning. It will be delivered to the bodyshop in the morning. AT LAST…
drove over to Cotgrave with my Dad & Grandad to see family that I hadn’t seen since I was about 4 years old, its nice to be back in the family, theres so many years gone by and people I haven’t seen , not that it was my fault, its good to be back tho..

finally, we took my grandad back home, dropped a mates DVD’s off and went to see Nicola (olly’s mum) who kindly countersigned my passport & firearms licence application for me.. stayed for a quick chat. Nic is mint, I wish my Mum was as understandin about what i’m doing with my life as Nic is with Olly’s – Jaz growled at me again until she remembered who I was (japanese akita) – shes the cutest dog in the world

Left Nicola’s and headed home, took us about 2 hours..

Things sink in when I go back, I miss Olly & Ko mostly, it gets me down big style, I had no choice but to move down here though cos of the financial mess I was left in and had no where to live. Things are lookin up though, once the cars back on the road and more moneys coming in, my life shall be easier and i’ll see people more often.

I’ve decided I want to live in Newark or somewhere near there… I can still do what I need to do with Maxxd and the business side of things, and still see my Dad. I have Newark set in my mind for some reason.. Theres too much going off at the moment to even think about going on holiday, I need more hours in the day, and more days in the week, or maybe hours to slow down a bit?

Roll on tomorrow, or should I say later? I’m gonna go and see someone that needs a bit of moral support from me, although they dont know it yet…

Woke up this morning riddled with aches and pains all up my legs, lower back and arse, I could not move very well without pain, I have never been so stiff in my life. Also had the biggest headache and a head full of cold, god knows where all this has come from?

The day got worse, the trailer we had organised, was no longer organised, it was not available until Monday. This car was doing to do my head in. I tried to get a van, but couldn’t cos I’m not 25 and the ones that would let me wanted silly money…

I made a quick call to a local guy in Mansfield, who is meeting me tomorrow with a lowloader and taking the car to the bodyshop for me. I’m taking the bumpers and paint down to the bodyshop myself, it all fits in the jeep (just) and I’ll be calling in to see a few folk hopefully.

I have been feeling crappy all day long, constantly blowing my nose and startin and stoppin work.
I have managed to get loads more work done mind, nothing can get me off the PC, I’ve done more to the site i’m working on, been playin with it most of the day, even though the PC has been throwing strops. I need to stop having ten million applications open at once.

I’m off to bed anyways I can’t keep my eyes open, got an early start tomorrow. I must remember to take James his DVD’s back and try and sort Olly’s phone out for him.
