Spain - Sun, Sea & San Miguel

Hell yeah, I went ahead with the last minute holiday, talk about last minute.
After taking my Mum her birthday card and some flowers I headed back into town and booked a last minute holiday to a place called Pollenca in Mallorca. Having nothing whatsoever to take with me I took a dash around town, buying a few new clothes, small suitcase and exhanged some english cash into Euros…
I have never ran about so much in one day in my life, it was about 2pm and the plane was leaving at 9.15pm. Luckily, I had organised a lift to the airport incase I got the holiday so that was taken care of. I ended up with one hour left before James picked me up and got a bath and packed a small case with what I needed. This must have been the most randomest thing I have done ever !!!
Arrived in Palma around midnight and then had a 40 minute bus journey to Pollenca. The apartments were really nice, situated five minutes from the beach and a wide range of bars and restaurants.. As normal I took alot of photos..
The Villa Concha where I stayed…
The weather was so hot, it took me no time at all to get a tan, I think I may have caught a bit too much sun though as today I’m feeling the warmth, not burnt or anything but get that feeling I’ve overdone it. I can smell burning skin but without the redness !!
The whole experience was fantastic, I was a bit nervous at first, travelling alone to a place thousands of miles away, knowing only myself, not being able to speak Spanish one bit other than being able to say Thankyou…. It went better than I thought though, I got about, I ordered food and drink and I got back in one piece…
I walked for miles around the Island, getting as many pictures as possible, thinking to myself - What a life out here, everyone seems so laid back and well, the weather made all the difference, the atmosphere was lovely, everything about the place was just so perfect. I could easily have stayed there, infact, if all goes well over the next year or so, I could easily move somewhere like that or at least buy a place and go there for so many months per year..
Heres some more photos…

For once, I chilled out, forgot about work and all the other things that are happening at the moment and had personal time to think to myself, without any distractions or interuptions. The mobile phone did not work which was a bonus and I only went on the internet for five minutes to check emails and tell Olly that I had organised a lift back from the Airport. Its what I have needed for a long time. I hope I can do this more often, I have not given myself space for years and soon get wrapped up in day to day life…
Over the weekend I ate properly for a change, the morning was started with a bowl of Special K, followed by a full english breakfast (accompanied with a bottle of beer of course)
Anyways, a quick summary..
A totally random last minute trip, cheap as chips, lovely weather, lots of walking and chilling out. Its a shame after being back for one day, I feel under pressure again, no surprise at all really, roll on success, a stable income and no debts and eventually, love!
Heres some more photos, arty ones at that from the plane window.
They took my breath away when I uploaded them !!!!
I could write lots more about the break but I won’t. Roll on the next break, hopefully the next one won’t be last minute and someone will come with me.
Don’t forget to click HERE for the rest of the photos - they rock !!!
In other news, England SUCKS, ALOT !!!
End !!!!

I’m so jealous, I’d love just being able to pack up and bugger off for the weekend, but now we have the dogs and Ste is a homing pigeon, I don’t see that happening very often.
