Since my last blog lifes been like a rollercoaster. I have been trying to get a strong hold over everything thats going on in my life. After long thoughts, its obvious that I have been taking on far too much, maybe not just work but in general, getting involved in things that are best left alone, things I’m not ready to deal with or face at this moment in time.

After a good old think and a re-evaluation I have made some life changing decisions and have sorted quite a lot of things out. Some of which will or have affected other people, however, its the first time that I have put myself first in a long time.

The new car was collected last week (just in time for a show). I had been after a MK2 Golf GTI for a while and managed to find a right bargain in Woking, Surrey. Thanks to James, I got down there in time for the guy to get it off his drive before his wife had it towed away, he needed it gone and I got there just in time.

For a 20 year old car, its a minter, 150k on the clock, bodyworks in good condition (it does need a bit of TLC) but thats expected. The interior is in pristine condition, I was so shocked to get hold of one is such good condition. It has 12 months MOT, two new tyres, 6 months tax, Pioneer Head unit with IPod interface AND it runs like a dream. Check out the pics…..

I have alot of plans for the car, but am not going mad like I did with the Polo, this time I have a sensible budget. The bodywork needs a tidy, which I have started already and have bought the paint back up to a shine. The back seats are being taken out to reduce weight. It needs lowering slightly and a big bumper conversion (from another model).

Anyway, enough about the car, its all I seem to think or talk about recently, LOVING IT
In other news, me & Olly have been real busy, we launched Edition 1 of the Maxxd magazine after the Pilot issue proving a success. Went to the Modified Nationals over the weekend which was ok until the rain started. Over the next few weeks we are hoping to give the club a whole restructure and sort out all the issues that we and other people have at the moment.

Still busy as ever, not a bad thing I suppose, rather be busy than sat about twiddling thumbs, although I feel another weekend away coming on real soon. Will take someone with me this time though. Also, think its time to learn a bit os Spanish, I can’t be ordering food by pointing at things on the menu no more…

Where the hell has the nice weather gone lately? Are we gonna have a decent summer this year or is that it? Whats happening? I have never known such crappy weather for this time of year, its pants !!!!!

Bring on the sunshine, late warm evenings and the chance to go to loads of dubshows…

I think thats it for this entry, I could say more but I will keep somethings to myself and not tell the world all my biz..
