Keane at Nottingham Ice Arena

For the first time in my life I went to see a band play live. I have listened to Keane for years now, not so much recently as I did not think too much to their new album.

Last night (Sunday 1st Feb 2009) the better half and I went to the Nottingham Ice Arena. The journey there was fun, it had been snowing all day and all the roads were slippery. Luckily, we were in a RWD, Mid engined car so had loads of fun

The night started with a band called FrankMusic, never heard of them but they were not that bad. We were standing in the middle of the arena so had a really good view.

Keane came on about an hour into the night, and rocked the crowds. They were amazing, played alot of songs from their latest album and some old favourites from their first album.

All in all, a cracking night. Can’t wait to see the Kaiser Chiefs on the 22nd.
