I finally have the car running properly again, over the weekend me and my good friend stripped the engine, replaced the head gasket that had gone, changed the oil, fuel filter, spark plugs and leads. We have flushed the whole system out, cleaned the injectors, throttle body and basically given the engine a good old service.

Its now running better than ever, at last. The standard airbox has gone back on but with a replacement K&N panel filter, the car has not been breathing right for a long time.

I took plenty of pics as I always do, talk about being thorough.

   

   

   

   

The engine is running that well, I think its time for a drive to Birmingham, someone wants me to take them shopping and it looks like I have no say in the matter… haha

So, most of the weekend has been a dirty one, we ended up spending a few hours on Sunday afternoon finishing things off, just needs MOTing now and I can get back on the road.

I have done a few other things this weekend, I spent a few hours on the sofa Sunday morning, Its the most comfortable thing in the world, its very practical and tends to eat me up so I can’t move
Its now Monday morning, we have a shed load of work to do, I have a bad back and there’s problems arising. Someone needs to sort my back out soon.

I have been fighting for bank charges over the past few months with two seperate banks and on Friday I had 26 individual letters through. TSB had sent me my copy statements for the past five years, why did they not put them all in one envelope?

   

Last but not least, I have mostly been drinking banana milk shake (the powdered stuff, its amazingly refreshing)
